Cover of the single SOL E LUA

Sol e Lua: two men dancing between day and night

The cover of «Sol e Lua» (Sun and Moon) is split in two. On the left, a golden sunset over the countryside; on the right, a blue night with a full moon. Right on the border, two men dance close, cheek to cheek, one in an open white shirt and the other in black, hands clasped high as in a slow tango.

The title is in Portuguese, and that already gives it an air of saudade, of a song from the other side of the map. Sun and moon: the opposites that never share the sky and that, in this image, finally touch. It seems to me a beautiful way of talking about two different people who decide to meet halfway.

There's something very tender in the embrace being a dance and not a kiss. Complicity, a shared rhythm, nothing more and nothing less.

To listen to as a couple, with the light changing at the window. Or alone, thinking of whoever would ask you to dance.
