Los Javis, three satin suits and a neon stage
Three guys holding hands, standing on a stage that shines everywhere. One wears gold satin, another purple and the third lilac, all with that gala-suit sheen you only bring out for an important night. Behind them, pink and blue lasers and a floor that reflects the light like a puddle. It looks like the finale of a musical.
The title pays tribute to Los Javis, and that name brings to mind a way of telling queer stories with sparkle, with emotion and without asking permission. The cover signs up to that aesthetic of glitter and spotlight, of holding hands in the front row without hiding from anyone.
I find it funny that in the image there are three and not two. There's always room for one more on stage.
Listen to it the way you'd watch a premiere: eager to applaud at the end.
