Honolulu Sand: rainbow hair, surf and a Hawaiian shirt
Sand, palm trees, a surfboard propped beside him and a green mountain in the background, by the sea. Sitting in the foreground, a guy with rainbow-dyed hair, aviator glasses with pink lenses and a floral Hawaiian shirt open over his tattooed chest. The cover of «Honolulu Sand» is a tropical postcard put through the PLANETA GAYFOLK filter.
What I like most is that hair of every colour. It's the flag worn on your body, no flagpole and no march, just sunbathing. And the gaze, lost on the horizon, has a hint of nostalgia for a holiday that hasn't even ended yet.
The title sounds like an old-style summer song, with its pink and yellow brush-painted letters. Honolulu sand, though the heart is probably still in some beach bar on the Spanish coast.
For escaping without leaving the sofa, or sprawled on your towel, with sun cream and without looking at the clock.
