Hipnótico Robótico, in a key of blue neon
Look him in the eye and hold it. The cover of «Hipnótico Robótico» (Hypnotic Robotic) is a close-up of a guy with spiky hair, cross earrings and a black suit traced with lines of electric blue light, like a switched-on circuit board. Behind him, more blue neon rays in the dark. The gaze is fixed, serious, with a hint of challenge.
The title is the kind that sticks the first time, because it rhymes and because it sounds like a spell. Hipnótico, robótico. I like to think of it as a description of the modern crush: someone looks at you, you go into a loop and move without thinking, as if you'd been programmed.
The whole look points to science fiction of screens and glowing suits, territory where PLANETA GAYFOLK feels very much at home.
Leave it on loop, which is what the name asks for, and see how long it takes you to fall into a trance.
