Thank you to the media talking about Planeta Gayfolk

Some days the work is a lyric, a take and a video. Other days, and they are getting less rare, I open a page that isn't mine and find the project told by someone else. A local paper in Móstoles, a radio station in the Canary Islands, a magazine, a music blog in Italian or in English. Someone sat down, listened and wrote. For a planet that comes off a desk in Madrid, that shows.

I want to say thank you, and I want to do it with names, headlines and dates. A thank-you that doesn't say who it is for just hangs in the air.

Planeta Gayfolk — the trilogy, the songs, the videos, this queer place I invented so I could tell my own story — is finding its way out, little by little. There is no label pushing it and no agency with a full diary behind it. There is an independent project, signed by me, and there are newsrooms that have decided to talk about it. Each piece belongs to whoever signed it. I am grateful for the time and the space.

Here are the pieces I have been able to check: pages that open and that talk about the project or about me. Eighteen of them. Eleven from this 2026, already solo, with GAYFOLK at the centre. Seven from 2024, when Mike Sain't Louis was still a duo with Patry and we released «Tragicomedias del Señor Sombrero». I keep them apart because they are not the same chapter, and mixing them would tell it wrong.

One of them needs saying plainly. The Revista 360º piece, «De músico a ecosistema», was written by me. They gave me room to write, and I am grateful for that too, but it is not somebody else's report on me. Putting it on this list without saying so would mean passing myself off as the interviewee of my own article.

On 16 November 2026 I am publishing another piece, a slower one, about just two of these texts: what CharlyFM wrote and what I wrote in Revista 360º. Its title is «Prensa que habló de GAYFOLK: lo que contaron CharlyFM y Revista 360º» (Press that talked about GAYFOLK: what CharlyFM and Revista 360º said). It is not public until that day, it will be in Spanish, and I am leaving it as it is: a rereading, not the inventory. This is the inventory. 2026, solo

2024, the duo with Patry

These seven belong to another period. Patry and I both signed them, and the album was called «Tragicomedias del Señor Sombrero». I am keeping them because they happened, and because back then there were people who stopped to listen as well. Today the project is mine alone. The past can be told without dressing it up as the present.
