Fly Away: black wings across a pink sky
No set, no objects, nobody around. The cover of Fly Away is just sky. A powdery pink sky, with the odd frayed cloud, and a guy crossing it with enormous black wings spread from tip to tip.
He's dressed in black, has tattoos on his neck and curly hair tousled by the wind. His eyes are closed and his face relaxed, like someone who has finally stopped straining.
I really like that the wings are black. An angel in white would have been predictable. These have something of a crow about them, something dark, as if what lets you escape had been born precisely from what was weighing you down.
The lettering is minimal, thin, spaced out, almost a whisper at the top. Everything invites you to slow down.
The English title says it plainly: take flight, get far away. Sometimes the only possible answer to what surrounds you is to leave through the air.
Put it on when you need to shed some weight.
