Flow / We Glow: the song for when you finally stop fighting
Breathe. That's basically what Flow / We Glow asks for, and it's no small thing in a catalogue full of faulty exes, narcissists and dating apps.
There's no drama here. No one to reproach and no broken heart to piece back together. The song comes from the sea and from calm, from one of those moments when all you need is to stop pushing and let the current carry you.
For me it's about that rare instant when body and mind finally move at the same pace. That second when you stop fighting everything and, suddenly, you float. The title sums it up in two rhyming English words: flow and glow. First you let go, then you shine.
Between two languages
It's half in English and half in Spanish, and that makes sense. It's a song that lives between two worlds: reason and emotion, noise and silence, the city and the shore. I like that it doesn't choose. That it stays in the middle, like someone with their feet in the sand and their head somewhere else.
What I like most about it is the idea of shining without shouting. We're used to everything having to be huge, loud, viral. This one goes in exactly the opposite direction: existing without hurry, surrendering without fear, letting the light arrive on its own.
Within Planeta Gayfolk, where almost everything sounds a bit strange, this is the most serene piece. The one you put on at the end of the night, when the party's over and only you are left.
My recommendation is specific: headphones, low lights and, if possible, the moon in the window. No listening to it in a rush on the metro. This one asks for time.
I'd dedicate it to anyone who's exhausted from swimming against the tide.
