Fear Zero: two astronauts, a hug and zero fear
Two astronauts in pink suits, embracing in the middle of an asteroid landscape, forehead to forehead, about to kiss. That's the cover of Fear Zero, and I confess it's one of those I most like looking at.
Everything is pink: the planet in the background, the moon, the rocks floating around, even the sky. One of them has his helmet hanging on his back, as if he'd taken it off without thinking to get closer to the other. On the arm, a patch with a heart inside a planet. You don't need oxygen when the person you love is right in front of you.
The title says it in English and without frills: zero fear. I like to read it as a countdown that has already reached the end, the moment of lift-off when there's no turning back. And also as a way of loving: embracing in a hostile place, far from everything, without asking anyone's permission.
I'm not going to tell you what the song is about. I'd rather you listen with this image in your head and decide for yourself what happens on that pink planet when the hug ends.
