Esta es la composición nutricional de un huevo (and it comes in pink)
Protein, fat, vitamins. That's what you expect to read under a title like Esta es la composición nutricional de un huevo (This Is the Nutritional Composition of an Egg), which sounds like a poster in a nutritionist's office or the label on a supermarket egg box. Then you look at the cover and forget all about the nutrition table.
There it is: a pink hen costume, fluffy from top to bottom, with a red comb, a yellow beak and some bulging plush eyes crowning the hood. Underneath, a serious face, a well-groomed beard, the look of someone who is not joking at all. In the arms, a pile of eggs, also pink, held very carefully. Behind, the sunburst rays of a retro poster in green, yellow and red, with paper worn as if from the sixties.
What I like most is the seriousness of the expression against the absurdity of the costume. That's where all the humour is. And the double meaning of the egg, in a project like this, needs no explaining.
What exactly the song tells, you'd better hear for yourself. I'll just warn you of one thing: it's not a nutrition class.
