Another Narcissist: who's pulling whose strings
Look at the hand. At the very top, a big hand holds a puppet's control bar, and from it hang the strings that run down to a guy in a pink suit, sprawled on his throne as if the world owed him something. Red roses on either side, a chessboard floor, a pale sun behind. He looks like the king of the room and in fact he's the marionette.
That's what I like about this image: you don't know whether the narcissist is the one sitting or the one pulling the strings. Maybe both. The title says it with a certain weariness, another, one more, like someone who has lost count of how many have passed in front of them with the same smile and the same script.
If there's been someone in your life who made you dance on invisible strings, this one's for you. And if you were the puppet, it's for you too: looking at the cover from the outside is already starting to cut the strings.
Play it loud and pay close attention to who moves what.
